Newsy Bits
I will be on a New York Comic-con panel (but I will not be exhibiting or selling comics). The topic is "Representations of Women in Comics":
Organized by the non-profit Friends of Lulu, this will discuss the representation of women in comic art and graphic novels with an eye for both the current and the historical. We shall interpret the effects of the female characters we read about in mainstream and independent comic works. Come to be invigorated by the diverse perspectives offered here!
Saturday, Feb. 7, 12:15-1.15, Room 1A23.

Also, I am featured in this month's Quill & Quire magazine. The current issue focuses on Canadian childrens' book illustrators.
